Emo/scremo – GERMANY
At this year’s extremely interesting Belgrade „Mačkin Spectrum Week,“ I had the chance to meet Filip Stojiljković, aka Filip Stounn, an extremely active personality in the underground community, a person who, besides being involved in photography works, his solo career, and playing music in his Eva Ras band, has also created on his Instagram page an unofficial but very extensive encyclopedia of the EX-Yu powerviolence scene. A multitude of bands and figures are included, so I recommend checking it out. Filip gifted me a few releases on this occasion, among them the album by the German band with an ordinary name but a not-so-ordinary musical approach, Older Friends.

Roots music/melodic rock/various genres – USA
Eileen Rose’s long career has had several phases and periods, a lot of recognition, and different reflections through various forms of musical exploration and work in this and that direction. It seems that her current album, „Insanitia,“ represents a deep cross-section of her experience, where, through 12 compositions, some original, some by other established authors, the richness of her expression reaches, one could say, a kind of pinnacle.

The band The Fortunate Few came together in an unusual way during a 4-song session, and over time this led to the realization of an album about putting the line-up together. The first one, „Saints And Sinners,“ came out in January 2026, and recently the second, current album „Isn’t That So,“ was released.
