TODD PARTRIDGE – “Autumn Never Knows”

Singer/songwriter Todd Partridge is in the saddle for a years, and his experience is huge. His career with the groups such as : Black Light Syndrome and Salamagundi is well known, and specially his works with the band King Of The Tramps, with whom he has released five albums and held over 500 concerts.

“Autumn Never Knows” is actual his solo signature, where we can face 8 songs, made through a similar and personal approach. Most of the songs are slower one, or done in slower mid to mid-up tempo, where clear vocalization and the “soothing” playing matrix, clearly “process” the themes that Todd deals with. Some of the songs and themes have more serious arrangement solutions, and the influence of the older school of folk and roots music tendencies is also visible.
We can’t find anything particularly new on Todd’s album, but conceptually and creatively, he clearly defined his goals as an author and performer.
