Korinn Pierre-Fanfan is a singer/songwriter and composer, born in Guadeloupe, whose musical legacy occupies a lot of space on her creative works. Her experience is also extensive, as well as numerous collaborations with established musicians and colleagues, such as : Brigitte, As Animals, Tony Allen, Youssoupha, Sean Kuti, Nicoletta, Jacques Scwartz-Bart, Blick Bassey, Jonathan Jurion, Stephane Castry, Frantz Laurac, Lional Agenor, Ralph Lavital.
In November 2019, she has released her first solo album “Traversee”, dedicated to the poetic introspection of her native Guadeloupe.
Her actual album “Rever”will be released worldwide on November 17, 2023. This new work will be also presented on stage on Wednesaday, November 22, 2023 at “La Petite Halle”, La vilette (Paris). Keyboardist and arranger Ruddy Boa played an indispensable and important role in the realization of the album itself, in addition to a quality team of musicians and colleagues. “Rever” contains music that deserves constant attention. In the message and performing approach set by the author, we find many elements as a : world music tendencies, jazz, soul and pop. With serious arrangements and complex vocal interpretation, this artist takes us on an interesting and fulfilling journey. The songs have a uniform quality, where the technical and production elements reach high standards.
