Out of Frankfurt am Main comes the band The Secluded, whose activities date from 2012. The first album group was released in 2014, and in the following period, they received some recognition from the audience. Also, they have participated in some festivals. After the period of so-called hibernation, they are active again, and after a lot of effort, they have realized a new album with 12 songs titled „Dreamscape.“
The Secluded are on the territory of indie/alternative rock, with many other additional spices, which we can hear in their music and creative views. The influences taken from the periods of the 80s and the 90s are present here and there, even in technical details, where the well-done production shows that band members understand nowadays standards. The songs are different among them, and that’s an important element. The group did an interesting version of Eurythmics’ classic „Sweet Dreams“, and there is no doubt that this song, in the band’s version, which is much „harder“, will attract the audience’s attention.
The sound of the songs of this band is rich and quite diverse, although the authors’ creativity is not that convincing. The experience of the band members works to their advantage, which represents a boost for future days.
