Before releasing their current album, Swedish band Blue Escape produced an EP that helped their work gain international recognition. „Teaser Blueser“ was created together with female singer Johanna Lillvik, and the release featured 10 songs.

In a very energetic and fresh way, with Johanne Lillvik’s cheerful vocals, Blue Escape explores the traditions of blues, swing, jive, and gospel tendencies of past times, arranging the songs in a way that „speeds up“ the pieces themselves, which are mostly traditional or works by other authors. And all of that sounds very melodic, and from today’s perspective sufficiently modern, without losing some sentimental charge of past times. The songs are very, very listenable, also acceptable for live presentation, and positive atmosphere and positive vibrations are dominant factors all the time.
