Aysay are a Danish trio led by female singer Luna Bullow Ersahin, and the line-up is also icludes guitarist Carl West Hosbond, and drummer/bassist/acoustic guitarist Aske Dossing Bendixen, with no less significant role. Also in the realization and recording of the material, a larger group of musicians participated, while the role of producer went to Aske Dossing Bendixen. Credits for artwork editions go to Amalie Rask.
This is the second album of the group, where we find a total of 10 songs. I would also add, that as a part of promotional campaign Danish trio will attend the Eurosonic (ND) on January 17.2024. Vocalist Luna interprets her version of personality in chaotic world. And that in Turkish, Danish and Kurdish languages, creating a very specific picture of the layout of the set ideas, with great help from the rest of the line-up. Don’t let the present pop elements, as well as the production method confuse you, because the Anatolian psych rock variant is expressed in the first place in the musical approach, which this team “exploits” quite wisely and intuitively.
All the mentioned details, integrated into a common whole, make the lyricism and emotionality of the music, with the addition of pronounced psychedelics, make the album a listenable product. This is a modern release too, with enough interesting and serious ideas/thoughts presented.
