Out of  Germany comes an artist fen, and he delivers an intimate, six-track EP called  „The Product of Growing Up“, offering a reflective glimpse into the process of growing up. Stripped-down acoustic guitars, subtle synths, and airy arrangements create a delicate, introspective soundscape, with his soft, emotive vocals at the center. Additionally, he has introduced himself as an author who, in his own way, communicates with several genres.

The EP explores themes of self-reflection, fragile family ties, and the search for authenticity. Rather than relying on big hooks or commercial formulas, fen. builds mood and nuance, blending specific sensibilities with what I would call modern indie-pop, to craft songs that feel like diary entries set to music.

At just over twenty minutes, the EP is brief yet cohesive, showcasing honesty, stylistic consistency, and emotional maturity that surpass the artist’s years. The Product of Growing Up positions this musician as a thoughtful, understated voice in contemporary indie pop — an artist who understands the power of restraint as much as melody. This is also one of those releases that isn’t easily accessible on the first listen, but rather reveals itself gradually. Naturally, it also requires a certain sensitivity to the concept that the artist has presented.
