„Two True Loves“ is the new album of life companions Jim Patton and Sherry Brokus. 14 new songs are here, and the same
authorial, expressive, and conceptual approach, with poems that are personal, accessible, and life-like, and collaborators who know how to guide what Mr. Patton envisioned.

Ron Flynt is again the producer, and he recorded the songs for the album. With huge and acquired experience, as well as the way he performs his songs, Jim, together with Sherry and collaborators, once again offered a sufficient amount of sincerity, directness, and charm, accompanied by a sound closest to an older variant of folk-rock/Americana, which is still authentic enough and by now widely recognizable to fans of the music created by the main author with his team of musicians.

The songs are done mostly in mid to mid-up tempo, some with evident narrative pastiche and approach, where simple yet clear background instrumental accompaniment effectively fills the space around the vocal parts. Nothing special new, but expected without any elements of potential dissatisfaction and disappointment.
