“Oh/Ky” is a debut release of Jeremy Pinnell, but also a collection of his life experienced moments, penned through 10 strong authors songs.
Backed by professionally trained band, through dark lyrical approach and his life storytelling songs, he communicate with old traditional country/honky-tonk, and roots styles. With clear melodic includings, all the presented songs are more than listenable, even that author’s messages and views aren’t easy for acceptance to every ear. This is also a sort of tribute album for the classic country music, and good old past days. Not typical release for these modern times, but a strong product with clear message.
Iako se dugo bavi country muzikom, do sada je uspeo da objavi tek jedno izdanje. Ali, Jeremy Pinnell je svoje višegodišnje životno iskustvo pretočio kroz 10 songova koji su se našli na “Oh/Ky” albumu, svojevrsnom storytelling hommagu njegovoj ljudskoj priči. Sa oporom i mračnijom tekstualnom porukom, a sa sjajnim pratećim bendom, gospodin Pinnell vešto barata classic country/roots nasleđem, i to one bazične, najstarije škole. Pesme poseduju jasnu melodičnost, i veoma su slušljive, iako sama tekstualna matrica, nije lako svarljiva prosečnom uhu.
Njegov album predstavlja i svojevrsno tribute izdanje classic country formi, kao i starim prošlim, uvek boljim vremenima. Ovo nije tipično ostvarenje za današnje vreme, ali je izdanje sa snažnom pogledima i jasnom porukom.
