Blue Minded are newer Dutch band, formed around guitarist and key author Jorgen Koenen in 2012 year. A group are consisting of experienced musicians, and during the previous 2014, a band has released “S/t” EP with 4 tracks in. Musically, they are on territory of melodic pop rock, influental by the 80’s and 90’s period as well. Its sound also capture something from so call “progressive” area, and songs posses creative dimension and certain performing lines. It’s interesting, but in some moments they reminds me on British legends Genesis and their pop period from late 70’s and early 80’s. But, Blue Minded bring with themselves also a breath of modern times, and they also look like a act from 2015 year. All of 4 songs posses radio friendly usings, and I have to add that its materials are also well-produced.

Blue Minded su noviji holandski akt kojeg cini iskusna ekipa muzicara, predvodjena gitaristiom i glavnim autorom Joegenom Koenenom. Startovali su 2012-e godine, a tokom prethodne 2014-e, objavljuju istoimeni EP, na kojem se naslo 4 songa. Muzicki izvode varijantu pop/rocka, koja se oslanja na 80-te i 90-te godine, Njihov pristup se moze smatrati kreativnim, a u izvodjackom i aranzerskom smislu “crpe” ponesto iz tkzv. progressive stila/pravca. Intersantno je takodje, da su me u odredjenoj meri podsetili na slavni Genesis, i njihov pop period s kraja 70-tih i pocetka 80-tih godina.. Ali, Blue Minded sobom nose i dah novog vremena, i muzicki sve ovde prisutne pesme su pogodne za emitovanje na radio programima. Takodje bih pohvalio samu produkciju izdanja, koja potvrdjuje ozbiljnost, pa i kvalitet njihovog dosadasnjeg pristupa i opusa.
