The famous Henri Mancini’s „Pink Panther Theme“ classic, and the Greek folk song from Thessalia, „Karagouna“, in the version by bassist Manos Loutas with the assistance of his 3 collaborators, have been „united“ through one instrumental piece, embarking on a new musical life.

The other musicians who have participated in the mentioned track are: Antonis Andreou: trombone; Pantelis Benetatos: piano; Yorgos Maniatis: drums.
I would especially mention the role of trombonist Antonis, who practically all the time in his specific performing way  „drives“ the brass phrases and improvisation tricks. Manos has offered an interesting view, where the tradition and pop culture unite in a common whole. This is an interesting experiment, listenable at the same time, where we can also have a chance to listen to professionals, who are at the same time good instrumentalists and arrangers.
