Out of Rochester, USA, comes a composer and singer/songwriter, Pete Rogers. His alter ego is I Captain, and his current EP is titled „One For The Money“.
He is also a performer on all instruments, so we can say that he did all the things with his music.

We can find 4 tracks on his EP, and I would add, four pretty interesting and original songs. His stylish approach comprises several different idioms under the indie/alt. rock, but in his songs and presented sound, we can hear elements of garage rock, rhythm and blues, hidden funk elements, and in my opinion, also we can hear some post new wave details as same as post 80s psychology.  He has offered his vision of laid-back atmosphere, where through some kind of „dark“ room or corridor, „float“ vocal-instrumental phrases that possess a certain tension and challenging elements. And, I will repeat one more time, mentioned approach is really unique and original.
I Captain in musical sense has his own world and author’s views, so let’s face it with his challenge.
