Folk/folk-rock/various genres – IRELAND/INTERNATIONAL

United Bible Studies is made up of a team led by Alison O’Donnell, and the band’s roots date back to 2001. Believe or not, during the period of existence, the group have released with actual one 28 albums. And this is a pretty respectable dicography.

With equally rich previous experience, as well as extensive knowledge of Irish and Anglo-Irish folk idioms, the reputation of the cast members is evident and has been recognized by the public over the years, along with the works they have accomplished over time. Before the actual release of the album, the band announced it with the release of the single „In The Arms Of Lewes“.

„Strange Is The Coastline“ through 12 songs, contains original material that is both „psychologically“ and production-wise equally „immersed“ in the 70s, as well as in the present time. And that’s the one of the key qualities of the group. The United Bible Studies have offered a portion of folk/folk-rock inspired songs, through which elements of other forms also run; I would add noticeable progressive as well as slightly less medieval traces. The presented material is listenable, and the musical performance, as well as the meticulously arranged arrangements, are evident practically from the beginning to the end of the album. „Strange Is The Coastline“  is one of those releases you will often return to if your taste is suited to this kind of folk/folk-rock story.
