Cina Samuelson is a singer and artist who, with her energetic, warm vocals and a career that covers various forms of the revival approach, manages with almost every release to somehow delight all those who are fond of that kind of style oriented towards the roots of rock culture.
Her latest release, „Good Ol’ Music,“ is no exception. It’s an album featuring 12 songs by different authors, performed and played in a modern way, while also connecting the story with the basic versions and the past times. With her expressive vocal melodies and very prominent „dance“ rhythms and additions, Cina, together with her team of collaborators, takes us into the world of the 50s, combining the revival approach, rockabilly sound, country/country rock songs, which serve as a good historical reminder, but also bring a refreshed interpretation that resonates with the present. I aktuelno izdanje „Good Ol’ Music“ nije izuzetak. Reč je o albumu na kojem se našlo 12 songova različitih autora, koji su otpevani i odsvirani na moderan način, ali isto tako povezujući priču sa bazičnim verzijama i prošlom vremenu. Kroz izraženu vokalnu melodičnost i vrlo istaknute „plesne“ ritmove i dodatke, Cina na svoj način sa ekipom saradnika nas vodi u svet 50-tih godina najviše, kombinujući revival pristup, rockabilly sound, country/country rock pesme, koje predstavljaju dobar istorijski podsetnik, ali i osveženje u interpretaciji koje korespondira sa sadašnjim trenutkom.
