Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Patrik Jansson is back at the heart of the blues scene with the release of his new album called „Different Shades Of Blue.“ This time, he worked together with the band on everything, even though Patrik is the author of all the compositions featured on the release. The album is available on CD and LP, as well as on digital platforms.
Over the past few years, Patrik has grown into a musician who has offered different variations of blues/blues rock forms “down to a fine point,” and his growing experience is evident. Confident vocals, skillful guitar work, and communication with the band members are also at a high level, giving the audience the chance to enjoy material that, when you listen to it, simply flows and sublimates blues idioms in its brilliant imagery. When it comes to this genre, a range of styles comes into play—from Texas blues, ’70s influences, Chicago moves, to many other influences, but Patrick handles all of it effortlessly, simply, and at the same time convincingly, never tiring the listener for a moment with some unnecessarily present additional tones or more expected arrangement solutions. The album is listened to in one breath, there are no weaker details on it, and Patrick has shown how, in an elegant way, his career, as well as his original creations, are on an upward trajectory.
Gitarista, pevač i autor Patrik Jansson, vraća se u centar blues dešavanja, realizacijom novog albuma naziva „Different Shades Of Blue“. Ovoga puta zajedno je sve uradio sa bandom, iako je Patrik autor svih kompozicija koje su se našle na izdanju. Inače i ovo ostvarenje pojavljuje se u formatu CD-a, LP-a, pored digitalnih platformi. Tokom proteklih godna Patrik je izrastao u muzičara koji različite varijante blues/ blues rock formi drži “ u malom prstu“, i vidljivo je njegovo narastajuće iskustvo. Sigurno vokaliziranje, spretno gitarsko umeće, komunikacija sa članovima sastava je takođe na visokom nivou, i publika ima priliku da uživa u materijalu, koji kada ga preslušavate, jednostavno teče i sublimira blues idiome u svojim blistavim slikama. I kada je ovaj žanr u pitanju u igri su razlučite varijante od Texas bluesa, 70’s opcija, Chicago iskoraka i mnogih drugih upliva, ali Patrik sve to obavlja sa lakoćom, jednostavno, a u isto vreme ubedljivo, nijednog trenutka ne zamarajući slušaoca nekim nepotrebno prisutnim dodatnim tonovima ili očekivanijim aranžmanskim rešenjima. Album se sluša u jednom dahu, na njemu nema slabijih detalja i Patrik je pokazao kako na elegantan način njegova karijera, kao i autorske kreacije idu uzlaznom putanjom.
