Kontagion is not an unknown name, I would add, in the underground metal/hardcore scene. The band from Poland has been active since 2007, and together with the actual one, they have released 5 albums so far.
That’s certainly not a small number of releases, and the fact is that analysts would agree that „Kontagion I“ is somewhat a different release from the previous ones. Across 10 songs, the band has delivered an aggressive mix of industrial, metal, sludge, and post-hardcore variants, which sound modern, contemporary, and quite convincing. At no point does the band stop playing; in that sense, the album is inspiring and creative, and besides sounding very modern, the link with psychology, specifically positive psychology from earlier periods, is not missing. It’s important to note that, arrangement-wise, the Polish band finds various combinations that show the freshness of the prepared ideas in both the instrumental and vocal-instrumental segments. This is demonstrated on the album in an authentic way, and with this current release, in terms of ideas, the band has shown remarkable vitality.

To sigurno nije mali broj izdanja, a činjenica je da će se analitičari složiti da je „Kontagion l“, donekle drugačije izdanje od prethodnih. Kroz 10 songova sastav je priredio agresivan miks industrial, metala, sludge post hardcore varijanti, koji su zazvučali moderno, savremeno i prilično ubedljivo. Nijednog momenta svirački band ne staje, album je u tom smislu inspitrativan i nadahnut, a pored toga što deluje vrlo moderno, link sa psihologijom, mislim pozitivnom psihologijom ranijih perioda nije izostavljen. Bitno je istaći da aranžmanski Poljski sastav nalazi razne kombinacije koje u sviračkom i kombinaciji vokalno-sviračkog segmenta, pokazuju svežinu priređenih ideja. To je na albumu pokazano na autohton način i sa ovim aktuelnim izdanjem što se ideja tiče, sastav je pokazao izrazitu vitalnost.
