The Polish band Jude has been around since 1993 and so far they have released a total of 7 albums. The latest one, „Zakaz,“ was originally released in 2024 by „Kulturkampff“ in CD format, and recently „Zoharum“ issued the same release as an LP. It’s a 180g black vinyl with a 4-page insert and a limited run of 200 copies.
The album features 7 compositions full of raw energy, aggressive sound, a mix of heavy and harsh industrial/electronic phrases, supported by dark ambient passages, with additional experimental playing and arrangement influences. Kamil Lazikowski’s production particularly emphasizes a solid and aggressive sound that fills the atmosphere of the tracks in almost a „marching“ rhythm. The weight of the sound is extremely pronounced, almost setting uncompromising aggression that never lets up, and the vocals, with nearly hypnotic screaming and narrative emphasis, add a realistic descriptiveness to the full picture the band presents. Some analysts consider this album one of the band’s best releases, but in any case, the numerous strengths as well as the challenges faced by the Polish act, are presented here in a blunt and raw way.

Poslednji, „Zakaz“ prvobitno je objavljen 2024-e za „Kulturkampff“ u formatu CD-a, da bi nedavno „Zoharum“ isto izdanje realizovao kao LP. Reč je o 180g black vinylu sa 4 strane inserta i ograničenog tiraža od 200 kopija.
Na albumu se nalazi 7 kompozicija koje odišu sirovom energijom , agresivnim soundom, kombinacijom teških i oporih industrial/electronic fraza, podržanih dark ambientim istupima i dodatkom raznih eksperimentalnih sviračkih i aranžmanskih upliva. Produkcija Kamila Lazikovskog specijalno naglašava čvrst i agresivan sound, koji kao u nekom „marševskom“ ritmu ispunjava atmosferu postavljenih songova.Težina zvučne slike je izuzetno izražena, gotovo da postavljena beskompromisnost i agresivnost nijednog trena ne prestaju, i vokal gotovo hipnotičkim screaming i narativnim naglašavanjem dodaje realističnu opisnost kompletne slike koju je sastav ponudio.
Pojedini analitičari smatraju ovaj album jednim od najboljih izdanja ovog sastava, ali u svakom slučaju brojne adute kao i izazove sa kojima se suočio poljski akt, ovde su prikazani na neuvijen i sirov način.
