From Lyon, France comes the artist, composer, photographer, Bastian Pons, whose areas of interest touch multiple fields. He approaches his work very seriously, whether it’s black-and-white photography or musical creation, which he explores in a multilayered way. Throughout all this, his strong knowledge of the subject is evident, as well as his overall educational approach. During the previous year, he released an album featuring 7 tracks, titled „Blinded,“ with the central composition also carrying the same name. And most likely, this composition realistically describes the creative and conceptual thinking of the French artist.
„Blinded“ contains several experimental elements, which can be seen through the prism of electronic influences as a kind of concept. Such a concept includes a sound that is created on one hand for some imaginary documentary film, which absorbs constant changes in psychological moods, framed through an expressive musical prism. The listener is thus faced with a pulsating rhythm, an atmosphere coming from the sphere of sublimated harsh sounds with a noise prefix, a voice from the „distance,“ which reinforces the „plot“ of the story being told, and an approach that includes Mediterranean/Arab ethnic influences with kraut rock elements. All in all, it’s a rarely seen creative mix that fits into just over 7 minutes of music.
Bastien Pons’ musical approach, creative and complex, represents a style „of its own,“ in other words, originality is evident both on this single and the album.

Svojim radovima pristupa veoma ozbiljn,bez obzira da li se radi o crno-beloj fotografiji, ili o muzičkom stvaralaštvu, koje on istražuje na jedan višeslojan način. Pri svemu tome evidentno je njegovo jako dobro poznavanje materije, kao i generalna edukativnost.
Tokom prošle godine objavio je album na kojem su se našle 7 numera/tema, naziva „Blinded“, a i centralna kompozicija nosi pomenuti naziv“. I najverovatnije pomenuta kkompozicija najrealističnije opisuje autorska i realizatorska razmišljanja francuskg umetnika.
