Još jedan festivalski happening održaće se ovih dana u našem glavnom gradu, uz učešće alternativnih/underground sastava, a iza svega stoji Turska izdavačka kuća “ Inverted Spectrum Records“. „The Music of the Secret Society that Owns Belgrade“ ili skraćeno „Društvo“ je serija kompilacija i „Uradi Sam“ festivala izdavačke kuće Inverted Spectrum Records koja ima za cilj da dokumentuje, promoviše i slavi alternativnu, underground i sub-underground muzičku scenu Beograda i okoline. Započet 2018. godine, projekat je obuhvatio različite stilove muzike, sa fokusom na psihodelične i avangardne varijante roka, popa, džeza, panka, elektronske muzike i tradicionalnih oblika. Projekat ima za cilj da posebno istakne autentične primere umetničkog izražavanja koji ne prate ni mejnstrim ni subkulturne konvencije.
Ovo izdanje festivala biće održano u Spratu 28. maya, u Kontrapunktu 29. maya, u Kvaki 30. maya, i u Čiltonu 31. maya. Bendovi, muzičari i di-džejevi koji će učestvovati na ovom izdanju su Damjan Brkić, Dunavski Buzukije, Fish in Oil Underground, Golubi i Bezumnye Kashevary, Ibar, Kabare Nebula, Lira Vega, Pinokio Petkom, The Durians, Turbo Trans Turisti, Aural Apothecary, The Cyclist Conspiracy DJ Set, i Una Miletić DJ Set.
Osim što predstavlja neke od najuzbudljivijih muzičkih tokova u gradu, serijal festivala služi i kao okupljanja zajednice na kojima entuzijasti alternativne muzike (bilo da su muzičari, članovi publike ili ljudi koji igraju druge uloge na alternativnoj muzičkoj sceni) mogu da se okupe, uspostave veze, i doživite praznične dane muzike u ambijentima koji su intimniji od onoga što se može naći u većim festivalskim produkcijama.
Festival će započeti psihodelično-orijentalnom rok žurkom 27. maja u Kontrapunktu sa tri “heavy” instrumentalna izvođača: Congulus iz Istanbula, , ruski bend Jesss iz Beograda, i improvizatorskom supergrupom sastavljenom od istaknutih izvođača sa beogradske psihodelične rok scene, čiju ćemo sastav objaviti neposredno pre datuma događaja.

„The Music of the Secret Society that Owns Belgrade“, or „Društvo“ for short, is a series of compilations and DIY festivals by Inverted Spectrum Records that aims to document, promote and celebrate the alternative, underground and sub-underground music scene in Belgrade and its environs. Having begun in 2018, the project has included diverse styles of music, with a focus on psychedelic and avantgarde variants of rock, pop, jazz, punk, electronic music and traditional forms. The project aims to particularly highlight genuine examples of artistic expression that follow neither mainstream nor subcultural conventions.
This edition of the festival will be held in Sprat on May 28, Kontrapunkt on May 29, Kvaka on May 30 and Chillton on May 31. Bands. Musicians and DJs that will participate on this edition are Damjan Brkić, Dunavski Buzukije, Fish in Oil Underground, Golubi i Bezumnye Kashevary, Ibar, Lira Vega, Pinokio Petkom, The Durians, Turbo Trans Turisti, The Cyclist Conspiracy DJ Set, Aural Apothecary, The Cyclist Conspiracy DJ Set, i Una Miletić DJ Set.
Besides presenting some of the most exciting musical acts in the town, the festival series serve as community gatherings where alternative music enthusiasts (be they musicians, audience members, or people who play other roles in the alternative music scene) can come together, establish bonds, and experience festive days of music in settings that are more intimate than what one can find in bigger festival productions.
The festival will be launched with a psychedelic-oriental rock party on May 27 in Kontrapunkt with three heavy instrumental acts: Congulus from Istanbul, Belgrade-based Russian band Jesss, and an improvisational supergroup made of prominent performers from the Belgrade’s psych rock scene, the lineup of which will be announced shortly before the event date.
