Thrash/death metal – GREECE
A somewhat unusual story follows the history, as well as the comeback of the group from Athens, which had its beginnings back in the 90s in the Greek underground.
At that time, they gained public attention with their activity, as well as with the EP „End Of Time“, which at that era, with its sound, the band’s energy, and the general approach, drew public attention to their work. Of course, in the underground scene, which in its own way successfully developed.
And now they return, reconstructing their work from the initial phase, giving a slightly different form to the tracks from the first EP, along with the addition of a new song „Ready To Fight“. There is no doubt that this trio is still within the thrash/death scene, as the first generations would call it, except that on the current EP, the songs have received a more convincing and modern production level, with the addition of electronics and other technical details. As the music flows, and in the way the band performs the songs, it is clear that there is no lack of energy.
And that is of course a good thing. The design of the EP cover and booklet is done in a manneristically interesting way, and the technical and other details are satisfactory. We will see how things will unfold when Cremate release new material, I assume this time a full-length album.
Pomalo neobična priča prati istorijat, kao i come back sastava iz Atine, koji je svoje početke imao davnih 90-tih godina u Grčkom undergroundu.
Tada su stekli pažnju javnosti svojim delovanjem, kao i EP-em „End Of Time“, koji je u ono vreme svojim zvukom, energijom banda, kao i generalnim pristupom skrenuo pažnju javnosti na njihovo delovanje. Naravno u underground filmu, koji se na svoj način uspešno razvijao.
I sada se vraćaju, rekonstruišući svoj rad iz početne faze, i dajući pomalo drugačiji oblik numerama sa početnog EP-a, uz dodatak nove pesme „Ready To Fight“.
Nema sumnje da je ovaj trio i dalje u thrash/death priči, kako bi rekli prve generacije, s tim da na aktuelnom EP-u, pesme su dobile ubedljiviji i modernijji produkcijski nivo, dodatak elektronike i drugih tehničkih detalja. Kako muzika teče, i način na koji sastav izvodi pesme, jasno je da energije ne nedostaje.
I to je naravno dobra stvar. Dizajn covera i bookleta EP-a je urađen maniristički intersantno, a tehnički i ostali detalji zadovoljavaju. Videćemo kako će se stvari odvijati kada Cremate realizuju novi materijal, pretpostavljam ovoga puta full-length album.
