The band, or rather the collective, Rua Das Pretas is led by guitarist and composer Pierre Aderne, a person with many years of experience, numerous awards, and extensive expertise. So far, he has released 12 albums, and the current one, „Povo Brasileiro,“ will be accompanied by a short film of the same name, which will be shown on May 12, 2026, at 8 PM on the stage at „Studio de L’ Ermitage,“ as part of a specially organized concert supporting the promotion of the current album.
Rua Das Pretas seriously establishes their expressive concept, which represents a combination of World music elements, combined with Samba, fado, Afro-Brazilian heritage, and all together roughly outlines the direction of Aderne’s ensemble. The music is full of emotion, and although the songs can be tinged with reflections on the somber Brazilian reality, there are also pieces performed by the band that are quite colorful, varying from case to case, but rich in arrangement textures and supported by quality musicianship. Of course, there is also that recognizable rhythm which, together with the unison vocalizing, also gives a convincing picture of the arranged music. There is no doubt that it is full of effort invested in the realization of this release, which opens up some new possibilities for Aderne and the group.
Sastav ili je bolje reći kolektiv Rua Das Pretas predvodi gitarista i kompozitor Pierre Aderne, osoba sa dugogodišnjim stažom, brojnim priznanjima i velikim iskustvom.
Do sada je objavio 12 albuma, a aktuelni „Povo Brasileiro“, pratiće i kratki film istog naziva, koji će biti prikazan 12.maja 2026-e u 8 sati na stage-u u „Studio de L’ Ermitage“, u okviru specijalno realizovanog koncerta koji prati promociju aktuelnog albuma.
Rua Das Pretas na ozbiljan način postavljaju svoj izražajni koncept, koji predstavlja kombinaciju World music elemenata, kombinovanu sa Samba, fadom, Afro-Brazilian nasleđem, i sve to zajedno otprilike opsisuje u kom smeru se kreće pristup Aderne-ovog sastava. Puno emocija, iako pesme znaju biti obojene osvrtom na neveselu Brazilsku realnost su uključene, i numere koje sastav izvodi, su prilično koloritne, od slučaja do slučaja različite, ali bogate aranžmanski jakim slikama i podržane kvalitetnim muziciranjem.
Naravno da ne nedostaje i onaj prepoznatljiv ritam koji uz unisono vokaliziranje daje takođe ubedljivu sliku priređene muzike.
Nema sumnje da je puno uloženu u realizaciju ovog izdanja, koje otvara neke nove mogućnosti za Aderne-a i grupu.
