First Draft is a French duo consisting of: Marine Arnoult – vocals and drums, and Clement Douam – bass, who in their own way push the boundaries of expressive perception, which, so to speak, goes beyond the forms: post rock and post hardcore approach. In their own distinctive way, they have created some kind of crossover variant, which, after one full-length and one EP release, is reflectively mirrored on their current album „An Instant Before The Promise Of Dawn“.
First Draft „pour“ many destructive electronic fragments, adding their own uncontrolled but clearly defined energy to the songs they perform, providing their version of the kind of destructive civilization we are witnessing, whose effects are also mirrored in this kind of modern art.
It can be said that in their own way, they conquer newly creatively found territories, accompanied by destructive but intelligently guided vocal-instrumental barrage fire, which leaves no free space for taking a breath or further thinking. This male-female tandem has created a modern release, giving themselves new constructive tasks in the times to come.
First Draft su francuski duo kojeg čine : Marine Arnoult – vokal i bubnjevi, i Clement Douam – bas, i koji na svoj način pomeraju granice izražajne percepcije koja uslovno rečeno premašuje forme : post rock i post hardcore pristupa. Na sebi svojstven način stvorili su nekakvu varijantu crossovera, koja nakon jednog full-length i jednog EP izdanja, se relevantno odslikava na njihovom aktuelnom albumu „An Instant Before The Promise Of Dawn“.
First Draft „sipaju“ puno razornih elektronskih fragmenata, dodajući vlastitu nekontrolisanu, ali jasno postavljenu energiju songovima koje izvode,pružajući svoju verziju slie razorne civilizacije kojoj prisustvujemo, i čiji efekti se preslikavaju i na ovakvu vrstu moderne umetnosti. Može se reći da na svoj način osvajaju nove kreativno pronađene teritorije, koje prati destruktivna, ali pametno vođena vokalno-sviračka baražna paljba, koje ne ostavlja slobodnog prostora, za uzimanje daha ili dodatna razmišljanja.
Ovaj žensko-muški tandem je kreirao moderno izdanje, dajući sebi i nove konstruktive zadatke u dolazećim vremenima.
