After the success and more than positive reactions to his previous album „Everyday Miracle“, Brock Davis returns with a new achievement titled „Nothing Lasts Forever.“ There are 14 new songs, which continue in that recognizable style that this artist has maintained since the break in 2018.
He is a songwriter who tells his stories in an emotional way and whose reality should not be questioned. Brock also produced this album, which mainly features lighter tracks, or for the most part, songs of medium and slightly faster medium tempo. With a team of collaborators, he offered a wide range of roots music/Americana steps, where there was enough space for older and newer folk variations, as well as older and newer country rock traces. Along with all that, his vocalizing, recognizable and sincere, dominates the entire prepared material.
Brock’s style is recognizable, and it can be said that with the current release he continues where he left off with the previous album. And that, of course, in his characteristic way, convincingly and with creative arrangements, that at no point cast doubt on his authorship skills.
Nakon uspeha i više nego pozitivnih reakcija na svoj prethodni album “ Everyday Miracle“, Brock Davis se javlja novim ostvarenjem naziva „Nothing Lasts Forever“. Tu je 14 novih pesama, koji nastavljaju onom prepoznatljivom stranom, kojim je ovaj artists nastavio nakon pauze od 2018-e godine.
On je songwriter koji svoje priče priča na emotivan način i čiju realnost ne treba dovoditi u pitanje. Brock je i producirao ovaj album, na kojem su se našle uglavnom laganije numere, ili večim delom songovi srednjeg i malo bržeg srednjeg tempa. Sa ekipm saradnika ponudio je pavz lepezu roots music/americana ikoraka, gde se našlo dovoljno mesta za starije i novije folk varijante, kao i starije i novije country rock tragove. Uz sve to njegovo vokaiziranje, prepoznatljivo ikreno, dominira kompletno priređenim materijalom.
Brockov stil je prepoznatljiv i može se reći da sa aktuelnim izdanjem nastavlja tamo gde je stao sa prethodnim albumom. I to naravno na njemu svojstven način, ubedljivo i sa kreitivnim postavkama, koji nijednog trenutka ne dovode u sumnju autorsko umeće.
