Riley Finch is a singer-songwriter who released her debut album at the end of September 2025. The title of her musical „diary“ is ‘Only When You Come’, and it contains 11 songs.
Listening to the prepared material, it is easy to conclude that this artist offered a specific emotionality and honesty, openness about personal and intimate events, which served as inspiration for the creation of the songs. Her vocal sensitivity, as well as a specific passion, are highlighted in the interpretation, which is delivered with surprising authority, considering that this is a debut work. The album should be seen as a coherent whole and a kind of storytelling form, which is accompanied in the background by relevant instrumental support, for which, besides Riley, Charles Finch was also responsible. In expressive terms, certain musical traces touch on ’80s and ’90s melodic/emo rock influences, but originality in this case is in no way in question. The album is closed by a cover, the song by Alanis Morissette – „You Oughta Know,“ which in Riley Finch’s version is done in a more energetic way.
This, I will repeat once again, is a very expressive and emotion-filled release, and a strong „boost,“ for this singer and songwriter for future recording endeavors.

Preslušavajući priređeni materijal lako se dolazi do zaključka da je ova artistkinja ponudila specifičnu emocionalnost i iskrenost, otvorenost oko ličnih i intimnih događaja, koji su predstavljali inspiraciju za realizaciju pesama. Vokalni senzibilitet, kao i specifična strastvenost dolaze do izražaja, pri interpretaciji, koja je izvedena iznenađujućim autoritetom, s obzirom da je ovde reć o debitantskom ostvarenju. Album bi trebalo posmatrati kao koherentnu celinu i neku vrstu story-telling forme, koja je u pozadini praćena relevantom sviračkom pratnjom, za koju je Pored Riley bio zadužen i Charles Finch.U izražajnom smislu određeni muzički tragovi dodiruju 80’s i 90’s melodic/emo rock uticaje, ali originalnost u ovom slučaju nijednog momenta nije upitna. Album zatvara i jedan cover, pesma Alanis Morrissete -„You Oughta Know“, koja u verziji Riley Finch je urađena na energičniji način.
Ovo je da ponovim još jednom vrlo eksperesivno i emocijama nabijeno izdanje, i snažan „vetar u leđa“, ovoj pevačici i autorki za buduće diskografske poduhvate.
