Hailing from New Jersey, the collective calling themselves Last Legs, has already released several projects, and now they’ve put out a five-track EP titled “I’ve Been Loved.”
The EP revolves around an experimental composition of the same name. Alongside the key version (Ari Way Remix), the track appears in four additional reinterpretations.
Experimentation is practically this band’s middle name. In its basic form, their take on electronic music, enriched with subtle vocal details, keeps transforming from one version to another into different expressive variations. There’s a bit of everything in the mix: hints of alt-rock, casual insertions of seemingly unrelated instrumental passages, slightly unexpected rhythms, and so it goes. It’s fairly experimental, packed with post new wave ’80s touches, yet shaped in a way that still sounds modern.

Iz New Jersey-a dolazi kolektiv koji sebe naziva imenom Last Legs. Nakon nekoliko realizovanih radova, objavili su EP sa 5 numera, naziva „I’ve Been Loved“. Reč je o nekoj vrsti eksperimenta kroz kompoziciju istoimenog naziva, koja pored bazične (Ari Way Remixa). doživela je i 4 drugačije verzije. Eksperiment kao takav je „srednje“ ime ovog sastava, gde u bazičnoj formi njihovo viđenje elektronike sa vokalnim detaljima se od slučaja do slučaja transformiše u različite izražajne varijante. I tu ima svega pomalo : alter rocka, neobaveznih ubacivanja nepovezanih sviračkih pasaža, pomalo neočekivanih ritmova, i tako u krug.
