Lords Of Salem are a Stuttgart based outfit who, as they put it themselves, are cracking open a brand-new chapter in their career with their latest release. The album drops officially on March 6th, 2026, under the unapologetically loud title “Supersonic Vampire Pussy,” and it packs nine tracks.
This German act is one of those bands that create the details, both technical and stylistic. Their sound fuses dark metal with industrial muscle, laced with sharp electro undercurrents, that thicken the harmonic backbone of the whole record. The overall delivery, both instrumentally and vocally, hits hard: raw, aggressive, and unapologetically brutal.
At the same time, the arrangements, though fairly stripped down, are built to amplify atmosphere, creating that tense, almost cinematic feeling of “something big is about to explode.” There’s a constant sense of dramatic build up running through these songs.
Still, the truth is, the material leans a bit too heavily on familiar, almost predictable genre trademarks. The originality isn’t present to a greater extent, and at times you can hear the blueprint behind the riffs. That said, things could very well shift in a live setting. On stage, those performance elements might hit with far more force,and leave a stronger mark on the crowd.
All in all, the material is consistent and delivered with solid, professional precision, tight, controlled, and technically on point.
Lords Of Salem je sastav iz Stutgarta, koji kako kaže sa aktuelnim izdanjem otvara novo poglavlje u karijeri. Njihov album zvanično izlazi 03.06.2026-e, zove se „Supersonic Vampire Pussy“, i na njemu možemo naći 9 songova. Nemački akt je jedan od onih sastava koji puno pažnje daje tehničkim i styling detaljima. Njihov sound predstavlja kombinaciju dark metala i industrial elemenata, kroz koje se prepliću vidljivi electro tragovi, koji popunjavaju harmonijsku dimenziju kompletno priređenog materijala. Iako je sam izraz i sviračko-vokalni pristup prilično brutalan i agresivan, aranžmani iako jednostavni, postavljeni su tako da deluju na atmosferičnost pesama,ords Of Salem i da kod slušaoca izazivaju efekat „intenzivnog režijskog iščekivanja“. Ali, pored svega činjenica je da muzika kojom se nemački sastav predstavio poseduje isuviše manirističkih i „očekivanih“ detalja, gde originalanost nije toliko primetna. Pretpostavljam da se delimično drugačija slika može očekivati na njihovim „live“ nastupima, gde priređeni izvođački segmenti bi mogli imati relevantniji efekat na publiku. Materijal je inače uglavnom ujednačen i tehnički očekivano profesionalno realizovan.
