One of South Florida’s most valuable Americana/roots musicians, Jim Wurster, is on the saddle with a new album, entitled „Transcendental  Inclinations“. He has recorded 7 solo albums and a couple more as a collaboration with his band, Atomic Cowboys.

There are 12 tracks on his actual album, where 3 songs are well-done and known covers. Several musicians and colleagues are present on the songs from the album,  which is produced in a modern manner. Jim Wurster has offered a variety of songs from the roots music/Americana fields, where there are enough places for classic country tunes, even one rock and roll song, and some so-called old-fashioned old folkie themes. I would say that the author has connected older and newer tendencies under the mentioned genres and forms, and without a doubt, all the things stand in the right place. The presented materials are pretty melodic, and melodicity in general is a key element of a complete album. For all the followers of older and newer roots variants, „Transcendental Inclinations“ is one of the albums that will never disappoint you at any moment.
