Out of Aachen, Germany, comes a group called Minusheart. They started in 2007, and with the current one, they have released 6 albums. During the period of existence, a group has suffered from personal changes, but their style is pretty known in the area of electro/industrial/rock circulation.
We can find on the actual album 12 tracks and a hidden track in the limited edition on CD. Minusheart talks about topics with social and critical reflections and comments. Music is monotonous, full of uniform beats and synthetic soundscapes. Judging by sound reflections, we can find many comparative elements with the stylish views from the period of 80s and 90s era of the previous century. But, the slightly less presence of rock idioms adds a different „flavor“ to the overall performance approach. In the very approach, there is a noticeable dependence on mannerist principles, and approximately when you hear a particular piece, you can assume the direction in which the further structure of the songs will unfold. The production is also more oriented to older school variants, but it seems that the band members decided to arrange it in such a way.
