Although she has been present on the international scene for a relatively short time, Isabel Rumble has managed to build a respectable reputation. Prior to her current release, she put previously out one album and one EP. Her debut album „Bird Be Brave“ from 2023, received recognition and nominations, after which she performed numerous concerts across Australia, Europe, and the UK.
„Hold Everything Lightly“ is a 10-track album through which this author continues the performance approach that has characterized her work from the very beginning. An essential element of her style lies in her lyrics, which function as a form of communication with her own emotions, while the music blends indie folk with traditional folk influences, as well as elements of Americana. Her warm vocal tone guides the psychological core of the songs, while the mostly minimal accompanying instrumentation, completes the sound that emerges from the compositions.
The album should be viewed as a cohesive whole, where vocal interpretation, the aforementioned emotions, and a clear authorial stance, represent its main strengths.
