Mike Vorpal belongs to that group of artists and performers who, in their way, break down and push through barriers, creating a sound that is authentic and sending a message that is not standard or expected.

The approach he has, along with his collaborators, is largely experimental, and in the expression of his views, nihilistic traces are noticeable, through which alternative rock and post-new wave elements pass. Someone would say „loud and proud“ throughout the entire course of the song, which, although it carries traces of some indigenous aggression and uncompromisingness, Mike finds his way and means of addressing the audience. The influences stemming from the early 80s and 90s are noticeable, but the way Mike handles them can be considered original to a certain extent. And the song „Q“ is a perfect example of such a claim. I always support artists like Mike Vorpal because there are no limits to their ideas and attitudes, and they are always ready to take risks and experiment musically. These are qualities that are still not a common occurrence on the international scene.
