Punk/punk rock/alter rock – AUSTRIA
The Burning Flags is a group that recently released its second album. They were noticed in punk and other underground circles, and their first album received very positive reviews.
„Pathways“ as a release, realistically reveals their message, portraying them as an energetic group, which, within the approach to which they are inclined, knows very well what they want and how much they can achieve. They are on the field, I would say, intellectual punk/punk rock, where elements of alter rock and strong lyrics are also presented in their songs. As a band, they are well-coordinated, and I suppose the studio recordings realistically reflect their energy that is present at concert performances.
In general, if we look at the album itself as a harmonious whole, it shows the uniformity of the material and a well-coordinated approach, which the band has set. The Burning Flags certainly didn’t fall into the trap of the second album, and can look forward to the next steps in their career with optimism.
