Burton Jerspersen nije toliko poznato ime na USA sceni koja je prebogata konstantnom invazijom novih aktova vernih tradiciji country/folk, ili nasleđa muzičkog pristupa kojeg nazivamo americanom. Svoj prvi album “The Ride “, objavio je pre deset godina. Aktuelni CD naziva “Any Road”, izlazi tokom ove 2012., godine, i na njemu se našlo 14 songova, od kojih su devet autorski radovi, dok su pet dobro izabrani coveri. Jespersen je siguran pevač, a njegove vrlo lične i emotivne pesme, balansiraju negde između countryja, folka i americane. Materijal mu je prijatan za slušanje, i u tehničkom smislu zadovoljava sve standarde žanra. Specijalno bih istakao šestu po redu numeru – “Redwood Song”, kao lični favorit sa kompletnog izdanja.
